Coral Gables Hospital is proud to congratulate Ruth Diaz on her promotion to Director of Quality.
With over 20 years of healthcare experience, Diaz has worked at Coral Gables Hospital since 2002. She most recently served as the Director of Telemetry where she was responsible for the coordination of patient care for the 68-bed unit, in charge of 140 employees. Among her many duties, Diaz oversaw clinical operations, employee engagement, patient satisfaction and performance improvement.
Diaz received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix and her Associate of Science in Nursing from the University of Puerto Rico. She is currently working on her Master of Science in Nursing and is on track to graduate next year.
