Ricardo J. Ramirez joins the staff at Coral Gables Hospital as the director of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).Ramirez has nearly 10 years of clinical nursing experience. He previously worked as a critical care nurse, a patient care supervisor and a clinical business technology consultant.
Ramirez earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Florida. In 2010 he was named Nurse of the Year at another Miami hospital and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
