Coral Springs Medical Center (CSMC) recently recognized Dr. Mark Lieberman with the “Physician of the Year” award.
As the hospitals Assistant Director of Emergency Services, Dr. Lieberman is the leading member of the pneumonia team in the emergency department (ED). His consistent support for new nursing initiatives in the ED, as well as being instrumental in a new rapid strep procedure, has made him the perfect recipient for this honor.
In addition, CSMCs hospital staff selected Dr. Lieberman based on his outstanding demonstration of professionalism through being a team member, showing high concern for patients and guests, ensuring patient privacy and dignity, responding to patient and staff needs in a timely manner, and sharing expertise with peers and staff.
As a past Chairman of CSMCs ED committee, Dr. Lieberman now serves as a member, and is involved with the Patient Care Key Group, a committee that addresses quality care issues. In addition, he is the Clinical Director of Medical Instruction at Nova Southeastern Universitys School of Osteopathic Medicine.
