CyberKnife Center of Miami and Palm Beachs Executive Director, Dr. James G. Schwade, of Miami, has been selected as an ASTRO Fellow for 2007. This distinguished honor is bestowed upon physicians in Florida recognized for their leadership and significant service to American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology, in the field of radiation oncology.
As the Director of the Cyberknife Center of Miami, which began operations in late 2003, Dr. Schwade initiated the first Cyberknife location in the Southeastern US, and is certified and trained to utilize the Cyberknife. He also serves as the Director of the Cyberknife Center of Palm Beach, which he opened in late 2005, and as CEO of Morse LLC, parent organization of those clinical facilities.
