Palm Beach resident David S. Mack will serve as the new chairman of MorseLife Health System, according to Keith A. Myers, President and CEO of the premier senior lifestyle community.

Mack’s devotion to MorseLife runs deep. His father, H. Bert Mack, along with a couple of his friends, recognized the incredible need for a state-of-the-art healthcare facility for the elderly in Palm Beach County. They became original founders of what has become MorseLife Health System.

David Mack is a senior partner and Vice President of The Mack Company, a real estate development firm headquartered in Fort Lee, NJ and Scottsdale, AZ. Since 2004, he is a former Director of Mack-Cali Realty, now Veris Residential, and served as an Advisory Board member from 1997 to 2004.

Currently, Mr. Mack serves on the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority of New York. Previously, he was a member of the Board of Directors and Vice Chairman of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority of New York for three terms and a member of the Board of Directors and Commissioner of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for two terms. In addition, he served as Vice Chairman on The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles Board for 12 years. For 14 years, Mr. Mack was Deputy Superintendent, the rank of Colonel, of the New York State Police. He is also a member of the Board of the United Nations Development Corp. of New York.
