September 11, 2001 is a day that Americans will never forget. Our first responders saved thousands of lives and ran into buildings when others were running away from them. As a thank you for all that they do, Delray Medical Center honored Delray Beach Fire Rescue by holding its annual 9/11 Emergency Department Appreciation "All American BBQ" event. The hospital saluted all of its emergency and trauma staff as well as local first responders.
