Delray Medical Center Among Top 1 Percent of U.S. Hospitals for Clinical Outcomes According to Healthgrades
February 11, 2020 – Delray Medical Center is one of Healthgrades 2020 America’s 50 Best Hospitals Award™. The distinction places Delray Medical Center in the top 1 percent of nearly 4,500 hospitals assessed nationwide for its consistent, year-over-year superior clinical performance as measured by Healthgrades, a leading resource that connects consumers, physicians and health systems. And during that same period, if all hospitals performed similarly to those achieving the Healthgrades America’s 50 Best Hospitals Award, 188,768 lives could potentially have been saved. For example, patients treated for Heart Failure at a hospital that achieved the award had, on average, a 33.8 percent lower risk of dying during their hospital stay than if treated at a hospital that did not receive the award.*
