Delray Medical Center is proud to announce the appointment of Jim Dunscomb as the new Manager of Plant Operations.Prior to becoming the Manager of Plant Operations, Dunscomb served in the same capacity as a Senior Safety and Loss Control Consultant. In addition, he has held other positions as a Safety Manager, Business Unit Safety Director and Senior Safety and Loss Control Representative in other hospitals. Dunscomb was also the Operations Manager at Mt. Sinai Hospital. Prior to this position, he served as a police officer and firefighter in New York City. Dunscomb began his career in the United States Navy. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in fire science from Rochville University. Dunscomb is a member of the National Association of Safety Professionals and the World Safety Organization.
