Miami Cancer Institute, a part of Baptist Health South Florida and the state’s only member of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Alliance, welcomes dermatologist Naiara Braghiroli, M.D., FAAD to its team of multidisciplinary cancer care specialists. Dr. Braghiroli is double board certified in dermatology and internal medicine.  Utilizing the most advanced diagnostic tools, including the extraordinary Vectra 3D Skin Imaging  Technology and the latest in confocal microscopy, she specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of various skin conditions, including melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers. When appropriate, she will collaborate with the Institute’s surgeons, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists and plastic and reconstructive surgeons in the Multi-Disciplinary Skin Cancer Clinic to deliver the most effective, individualized care plans to patients. 
 
Dr. Braghiroli earned her medical degree and completed a dermatology residency at Federal University of Bahia in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. She also completed an internal medicine residency at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine affiliated facilities in Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Her post-doctoral training included clinical and research fellowships in skin cancer and pigmented lesions, dermoscopy and confocal microscopy at the Skin & Cancer Associates in Plantation, Fla., under the tutelage of the renowned dermatologist Dr. Harold Rabinovitz. 
 
Dr. Braghiroli has had papers published in peer-reviewed medical journals and has presented at numerous professional meetings. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and member of the International Dermoscopy Society.
