The North Broward Hospital District has named Bernabé A. Icaza Director of Regulatory and HIPPA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) Compliance.
Prior to joining the NBHD, Icaza was Assistant Attorney General, Medicaid Fraud Control Unit at the State of Florida Attorney Generals Office. His career background also includes serving as Assistant General Counsel/Senior Attorney for the Florida Department of Health, Assistant Attorney General for the State of Missouri, and as an attorney in private practice.
