Dr. Jamelle June Briones Mayugba, senior medical director for VITAS® Healthcare, leads the hospice and palliative care teams for patients in the Palm Beach program in Boynton Beach, Florida. Since 2010, she has served VITAS patients and families in the Palm Beach community.
Earning her medical degree from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center in Manila, Philippines, Dr. Mayugba is board certified in hospice and palliative medicine and internal medicine. She completed her clinical training at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn. Dr. Mayugba speaks both English and Tagalog.
