Pediatric hematologist/oncologist Doured Daghistani, M.D., has been elected secretary/treasurer of the more than 1,400 physicians on the Baptist Hospital medical staff. He also serves as medical director of pediatric oncology, and chairman of Baptist Children’s Hospital Executive Board. He has been on staff at Baptist Hospital since 1992.
Dr. Daghistani is Board-certified in pediatrics with a subspecialty in pediatric hematology/oncology. Dr. Daghistani received his medical degree from the University of Damascus, Syria, and completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Miami. A resident of Pinecrest, Dr. Daghistani is married and has two children.
