Anthony Ferretti, D.O., assistant dean of clinical education at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Bradenton campus, received the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association’s highest honor during FOMA’s annual conference in Weston.Dr. Ferretti received the Distinguished Service Award, given to an individual “in recognition of outstanding accomplishments in scientific, professional, osteopathic education, or service to the osteopathic profession at a state and national level.”
A graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Ferretti has chosen to take on the role of educator, sharing his wealth of knowledge as an osteopathic physician and surgeon.
Dr. Ferretti is a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army Reserves and has served the country as a member of the U.S. Army medical team during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
