Mount Sinai Medical Center announced that it is the recipient of a multi-million dollar contribution from Dr. Donald L. Golden and his family. The unrestricted gift represents one of the largest in the hospital’s history.

Dr. Golden is the former chairman of D.O.C. Optics Corp., a company he founded in 1946 in his native Detroit, MI. In recognition of his family’s generosity, Mount Sinai’s new 106,000-square-foot medical office building will be named for Dr. Golden and his family. Pictured is Dr. Golden with his wife, Marion.
