Delray Medical Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Peter B. Licata to its Governing Board. Dr. Licata currently serves as the Regional Superintendent of the South Region of the Palm Beach County School District, overseeing 60 schools. He brings extensive leadership and educational experience to the board, having served in various district leadership roles and as the Principal of Olympic Heights High School and Boca Raton Community Middle School.
Dr. Licata earned his Ph.D. in Global Leadership from Lynn University with a focus on preparing students for the 21st century workforce. He also served as adjunct professor at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, where he taught courses preparing future school administrators.
