LRMC physicians to join ERG in providing additional health care to Florida communities
August 4, 2022 – Emergency Resources Group (ERG) announced a partnership today with Lakeland Regional Medical Center (LRMC). ERG’s emergency physicians will now staff the hospital’s emergency department, the second busiest department in the country. ERG will provide critical care management for patients throughout their medical journey. The physicians who previously staffed the LRMC emergency department will join ERG, further strengthening the group’s longstanding status as an essential medical resource in communities throughout the region.

ERG will staff both the adult and pediatric emergency departments. According to Becker’s Hospital Review, LRMC saw nearly 200,000 emergency department cases in 2021, second only to Parkland Health and Hospital System in Dallas.

ERG’s team of physicians have, for more than 40 years, provided critical health care in communities in Florida and Georgia. The group’s experience is in multiple specialties including emergency medicine, pediatric emergency medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, wound care, and assistance with Advanced Practice Providers (APC’s). The group also has physicians who specialize in telemedicine and provide care coordination resources to businesses and nonprofits.
