Atlantis Orthopaedics welcomes Mamun Al Rashid, MD and Vani Sabesan, MD.
February 16 2021 – Atlantis Orthopaedics has welcomed two new orthopedic surgeons to its impressive roster of physicians over the last few months. Fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon Mamun Al Rashid, MD, joined the practice in November and specializes in total hip and knee replacement and orthopedic oncology. Vani Sabesan, MD, specializes in complex shoulder and elbow surgery and joined the practice last month. The physicians join a robust group that offers advanced shoulder, sports medicine, foot and ankle, hip preservation, and pediatric orthopedic care as well as interventional pain management to patients across South Florida.

Al Rashid and Sabesan support the practice’s two locations near JFK Medical Center in Atlantis and in Palm Beach Gardens. After serving Palm Beach County exclusively for a number of years, Atlantis Orthopaedics, part of HCA Healthcare’s East Florida Division, is eager to expand. Plans are underway to open additional locations within and outside of Palm Beach County, which will help patients access the services provided through the practice. The expansions, which are planned for the Boynton Beach, Royal Palm Beach, Margate and Davie areas, are projected to take place over the course of 2021. The expansion also includes plans to add orthopedic spine care to the practice’s portfolio.
In addition to providing orthopedic subspecialty care, Atlantis Orthopaedics also offers robust physical therapy services at its two locations, and is planning to expand this service into additional markets as well.
