On Friday, February 18th, the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s Fashion Funds the Cure event will highlight the dreams of local pediatric cancer warriors in an upscale runway show presented by The Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens.

Fashion Funds the Cure blends high fashion with the dreams of pediatric cancer patients for an unforgettable night to raise funds for pediatric cancer research. This year’s event will be co-hosted by Jana Angel, host of Living Local on Fox 29 and Trending Today on Fox Business and Teri Hornstein, News Anchor at WPEC-TV CBS12

For the show’s iconic “Dream Walk” finale, each child will rock the runway alongside a local “role model” that works in their dream profession. Eight-year-old Malachi has his sights on becoming a Professional Race Car Driver and will be escorted down the runway by 17-year-old Sprint Car Racing phenomenon, Gray Leadbetter. Guests will also meet five-year-old Rocco who dreams of becoming a Paleontologist when he grows up. Rocco will be escorted by Robert de Palma, Curator of Paleontology at the Palm Beach Museum of Natural History Museum.

Runway fashions for the evening will be provided by, J. McLaughlin, Johnny Was, Lilly Pulitzer, Nordstrom, South Moon Under, Tommy Bahama, and 120% Lino from The Gardens Mall. This year’s event will also feature live entertainment from world renowned violinist – Jared Violin, a delicious catered dinner from California Pizza Kitchen, dessert from Nothing Bundt Cakes, and an after party at Brio Tuscan Grille.
