Florida Atlantic University’s Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing has launched a new second-degree part-time track in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at FAU’s Davie campus.
FAU’s new BSN degree is designed to prepare working professionals with a bachelor’s degree or higher in another discipline, as professional nurses who are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN®) to secure licensure as a registered nurse.
The new program will commence on Saturdays beginning this August, and FAU’s College of Nursing will start accepting applications on Friday, March 15. The application period closes on Monday, July 15.
Course scheduling formats for the program will include a live class one evening a week, as well as on weekends, through online courses, and live-streaming delivery course formats. With enrollments during six consecutive semesters, students can complete their BSN degree in two years.
Features of the program include a dedicated state-of-the-art education facility on FAU’s Davie campus, clinical experiences in Broward County, and a dedicated program adviser who guides the students in the working professional BSN track with the same sequence of classes and educational support from admission to graduation.
