January 10, 2022) – Rosie Inguanzo-Martin, CEO and co-founder of Allegiance Home Health, has joined Florida Atlantic University’s Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing’s Advisory Board.

“The College will benefit from Rosie’s vast experience as a leader in the community and within our healthcare system,” said Safiya George, Ph.D., dean, Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing. “In addition to her generous support for seniors, she has been a strong advocate for nursing students and the profession. We are grateful her strategic insights will help shape the future of our academic programs, research and community service.”

Inguanzo-Martin supervises operations of Allegiance Home Health with more than 300 employees. She is responsible for providing strategic, financial and operational leadership while closely working with her senior management team. The agency is rated five stars quarterly by Medicare and has been awarded HomeCare Elite for several years. The Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce awarded Inguanzo-Martin with the “Small Business Leader of the Year” award in 2016. She proudly created the “La Luz” Roselia Inguanzo Memorial Scholarship Endowment Fund for FAU College of Nursing in honor of her mother, Roselia.

“It is a great privilege and honor to be a member of the College of Nursing Advisory Board,” said Inguanzo-Martin. “As a business owner in the field of nursing and graduate of FAU, I am grateful to give back to my alma mater. The nursing program at FAU is exceptional. Specifically, at this time, there is a dire need for nurses in several healthcare settings. I can confidently state that the nursing students FAU is producing will be an asset to any health care employer.”     

 Formed in 2012, the advisory board supports the College by leading advocacy and fundraising efforts. This past year, the board supported nursing students at a critical time by expanding its fundraising efforts for the College’s White Coat Ceremony, raising more than $100,000 so each student could receive a white coat scholarship and to provide additional support to nursing students.
