Florida Atlantic University is pleased to announce the establishment of a chapter of Upsilon Phi Delta, a national academic honor society for students in health management and policy.

Dr. Alan Whiteman, Associate Program Director stated “The Health Management programs at Florida Atlantic University are pleased to have our students receive this prestigious recognition for their academic accomplishments.”
 
Membership in Upsilon Phi Delta Honor Society is open to individuals who meet the national and local standards of this organization and are accepted and initiated into membership of a collegiate chapter. In order to be eligible for induction, Bachelor of Health Science students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and 18 hours of work after officially declaring a healthcare administration major OR Master of Health Administration graduate students must have a minimum cumulative 3.5 based on at least 18 hours of graduate work. Membership is open to students, faculty, healthcare executives and administrators, and to those contributing to the healthcare administration profession.
 
The mission of the Upsilon Phi Delta Honor Society is to recognize, reward, and encourage academic excellence in the study of health administration.
