Dr. Timothy Page has joined the faculty of the Department of Health Policy and Management at Florida International University in the Robert Stempel School of Public Health. Dr. Page completed his Ph.D. in Economics at the University of New Hampshire with specializations in health economics and public finance. His dissertation research focused on the impact of government insurance programs on household decisions, such as the impact of government provided health insurance on how much people choose to work and the role of information sharing in promoting Medicaid enrollment among racial and ethnic subgroups. Dr. Page has also worked on many projects in the field of kidney transplantation with Dr. Robert S. Woodward, McKerely Professor of Health Economics at the University of New Hampshire. These projects include an analysis of the impact of Medicare’s drug coverage on income related disparities in kidney transplant outcomes, which will soon be appearing in The American Journal of Transplantation.
