Florida Medical Space, Inc. (‘FMS’) announced that the firm and its joint venture partner, Axcel Development have broken ground on a new three story medical office project at Westside Regional Medical Center in Plantation.Westside Medical Plaza will total 39,000 square feet upon completion and is situated directly in front of the main entrance to the Hospital. Tom Adams, CEO of Florida Medical Space recently commented, “Plantation is experiencing a significant amount of activity and interest within the physician community as groups from Hollywood, Pembroke Pines and other areas of Broward County seek to take advantage of the favorable patient demographics in western Plantation. The leadership team at Westside Regional Medical Center has done an excellent job of working with their physicians to meet the growing healthcare needs of the western Broward County residents.”
Westside Medical Plaza is scheduled to be completed in January of 2014 with the first tenants moving into the building in March. The Plaza will feature a significant primary care presence together with medical oncology, ENT, orthopedics, GI among others.
