The Federally Qualified Healthcare Center appoints Marcia Young as its COO, Andy Antenor as CFO and promotes Dr. Jean Monice as Medical Director

 

May 19, 2022 – FoundCare’s new CEO, Christopher Irizarry, has summoned fresh leadership for the C-suite, including Marcia Young as the organization’s Chief Operating Officer and Andy Antenor as Chief Financial Officer. FoundCare also promoted long-time pediatrician, Dr. Jean Monice, as the Pediatric Medical Director for their Palm Springs center. The assembled crew will continue to help the non-profit deliver accessible and first-rate healthcare to underserved communities in Palm Beach County.

FoundCare’s mission is to provide quality healthcare and social services for all individuals and families. It offers pediatric, adult, and geriatric primary care, chronic disease management, behavioral health services, dentistry, laboratory services, women’s health (including screening mammography), and an on-site pharmacy. FoundCare’s services are accessible through seven locations in Palm Beach County, with their Palm Springs center conveniently offering all services in one location. Andy Antenor

 

Young joins FoundCare with more than 30 years of experience working in ambulatory healthcare settings in private organizations, non-profits, and federally qualified health centers. She received her Master’s Degree in Health Service Administration from Nova Southeastern University and has exercised her knowledge in physician relations, revenue cycle management, managed care contracting and credentialing and provider enrollment. Young will work closely with Irizarry, overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of FoundCare and its seven sites.

 

Jean Y. Monice, MD, PA

Antenor brings 16 years of experience in budgeting, accounting, financial reporting and auditing to FoundCare. Prior to her role, she received her MBA in Finance and Management from Barry University and Master’s Degree in Forensic Accounting from Florida Atlantic University. She has advanced knowledge in healthcare accounting and financial reporting in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and is committed to cost-effective management of resources and quality performance. Antenor will be responsible for all aspects of the financial operations for the non-profit while contributing to the future viability of the organization and its ability to accomplish its mission.

 

Monice joined FoundCare in 2019, bringing with him over 40 years of experience as a Board-Certified Pediatrician. He graduated from Program Port-au-Prince, Haiti Doctor of Medicine, and completed his residency in Pediatrics at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in Bronx, New York. Monice has hospital affiliations with St. Mary’s Medical Center, Wellington Regional Medical Center, and JFK Medical Center. He is also fluent in English, French Creole, and Spanish. As the pediatric medical director, Monice will be responsible for directing staff, services and programs relating to pediatric care while driving continuous quality improvement.
