Showing support for World Breastfeeding Awareness Week, Good Samaritan Medical Center hosted mothers and their children at the hospital to show the benefits of breastfeeding. It was an opportunity to meet others and share stories and also offer support. At the Special Deliveries Unit at Good Samaritan Medical Center, the goal is to provide women with comforting, personalized care, before, during and after the birth of a child. Our highly skilled doctors, nurses and technicians focus on the mother’s needs and the needs of her newborn. During their hospital stay, new moms are offered advice and support from our specially trained staff as well as a visit from our lactation consultant.
