April 8 2022 – Nutrition researcher and New York Times bestselling author Neal Barnard, MD recently gave a lecture at Good Samaritan Medical Center to demonstrate how foods affect our hormones—and our health—in his new book, Your Body in Balance. He shared the science behind how common hormone-related conditions—like infertility, weight gain, menopausal symptoms, breast and prostate cancers, thyroid problems, and acne—can be affected by and improved by simple diet changes.
Good Samaritan’s Director of Food & Nutrition/Executive Chef Seth Kirschbaum also joined Dr. Barnard to provide a plant-based cooking demonstration.
