Governor-elect Charlie Crist has appointed Marvin O’Quinn, president and CEO of the Jackson Health System/Public Health Trust, to his transition team. O’Quinn will assist in the analysis of the Agency for Health Care Administration and the Department of Health as well as providing health care policy suggestions to the Governor.

“I am honored to have been chosen to this important post and I look forward to working with other community leaders and the Governor on Florida health care issues,” said O’Quinn.

The mission of the transition team is to help the Governor and agency department heads better understand the services they provide to Floridians, determine the needs of different agencies, identify reorganization opportunities, and to provide an overview of legislative, budget and policy issues.
