Harris Gellman, M.D., FACS, a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic hand surgeon, has joined Baptist Health Orthopedic Care.

Committed to the mentoring, teaching and training of medical students, residents and fellows, Dr. Gellman has held several educational leadership positions throughout his career. He currently serves as a clinical professor of orthopedic surgery at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Davie, FL, as well as a voluntary clinical professor of orthopedic surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami.

Dr. Gellman earned his medical degree at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia. He completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He also completed a hand and microvascular surgery fellowship at the University of California in San Diego and an orthopedic surgery fellowship at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
