March 3, 2023 — HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital announced the appointment of Jordan Fulkerson as chief finance officer (CFO).

Fulkerson began his hospital finance career at OSF Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee, Ill., where he served as an accountant for three years before being promoted to the director of patient financial services and health information management. He then transitioned to George E. Weems Memorial Hospital, a critical access facility in Apalachicola, Fla. as the director of revenue cycle management. Within two years, he was promoted to chief financial officer.
Fulkerson joined HCA in 2018 as the assistant chief financial officer (ACFO) at HCA Florida Englewood Hospital. He was then promoted to the ACFO role at HCA Florida Largo Hospital and was selected to participate in the HCA Healthcare Executive Development Program. During his time at Largo, Fulkerson worked closely with his team to secure significant funding for expansion projects to upgrade equipment and launch new clinical programs to better meet the needs of the community.
