The Health Care District of Palm Beach County has named two new members to its executive team: Dawn L. Richards, Chief Financial Officer and Valerie Shahriari, JD, RN, General Counsel.
Richards has served as the Chief Financial Officer at Palms of Pasadena Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL, the former Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and Barrow Medical Center in Winder, GA. She is also licensed to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania. While employed by the firm of CapozziAdler, P.C., Richards practiced in the areas of healthcare and employment law.
Shahriari joins the District with an extensive background in the practice of healthcare law, most recently in Palm Beach County, including healthcare regulatory matters, provider reimbursement, and provider contracting. She also has a clinical background as a surgical nurse.
