HealthFusion, the developers of MediTouch EHR – the first native iPad EHR, cloud-based electronic health record software – recently presented special demonstrations at Apple Stores in South Florida.

These special demonstration events were held in Florida at The Apple Store Galleria Mall in Fort Lauderdale on July 10th, The Apple Store Waterside Shops in Naples on July 11th, and The Apple Store International Plaza in Tampa on July 12th with physicians, medical billing company executives, physician office management, physician’s assistants, and others from the healthcare community in attendance.

“These events enabled physicians and their staff the opportunity to learn more about MediTouch EHR and utilizing Apple Products in their practices from fellow physicians”, stated Dr. Sol Lizerbram, Chairman of HealthFusion.

Physicians and other healthcare providers have been inquiring about the MediTouch web based EHR software at Apple Stores because of our strong reputation in the Apple user community. “Many physicians have been requesting to participate in our standard Webinar demos and participating in our Apple Store special events provides them with a new way to “test-drive” our software,” stated Dr. Lizerbram.

“These events provided physicians the chance to test the MediTouch EHR and determine for themselves how easy it is to utilize, especially when using an iPad,” stated Dr. Li of Broward Internal Medicine. “I have utilized other electronic medical records, but the MediTouch EHR has enabled me to significantly increase the efficiency of my practice, including adding more visits, billing and receiving payments quickly,” stated Dr. Li.

The MediTouch Platform is highly compatible with Apple products because it is built for mobile medicine on a Pure Cloud® infrastructure. The system was designed by physicians with the goal of simplifying and optimizing the practice of medicine especially for smaller medical practices that require nimble, cost-effective software implementation.

Thousands of physicians, including many in Florida, are utilizing MediTouch EHR software and many have received their Meaningful Use EHR incentive program stimulus checks from the federal government. MediTouch EHR has been certified as a 2014 Meaningful Use compliant Complete EHR that supports both Stage 1 and Stage 2 Meaningful Use measures and was among just the first five pure ambulatory EHR companies to achieve this certification.

“Based on the success of these first events, and the increasing demand for demonstrations, we hope to schedule more of these special demonstrations at other Apple Stores in Florida soon,” stated Lizerbram.
