Lourdes Nunez, M.D., medical director at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Miami, recently received the 2012 Patient Experience Award during HealthSouth’s Medical Directors’ Conference.Dr. Nunez is a family practitioner and medical director at HealthSouth Rehabilitation hospital of Miami. It is there she spends her mornings, doing rounds and giving excellent care to patients in need of physical rehabilitation. She also maintains a family medicine practice for outpatients at her Kendall. Dr. Nunez has been on staff at HealthSouth since the year 2000. Her presence in the facility has brought a competent and calming component to her patients, family members and staff. She is so well liked; she is the primary care physician to many of the employees at HealthSouth.
