Wellington Regional Medical Center (WRMC) will host a “Healthy Heart Health Fair and Forum” on Wednesday, August 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the hospital campus in Wellington. The objective of this community event is to increase awareness about heart disease and encourage people to learn the facts about prevention and treatment. In addition to free blood pressure and cholesterol screenings and educational resources, “Lunch and Learn” physician lectures are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. A healthy lunch will be served, so reservations are encouraged.
