Memorial Healthcare System has named Jon D. Hennemyre administrator at Memorial Manor, a 120-bed nursing home offering long-term care and short-term rehabilitative services. Hennemyre brings 25 years’ experience with skilled nursing facilities to his new position, with specific expertise in the financial, leadership, team-building, and regulatory aspects of the industry.

Prior to joining Memorial, Hennemyre oversaw operations in multiple states as a regional vice president for Life Care Centers of America. Most recently, he was senior executive director of their facility in Palm Beach Gardens, FL and, prior to that, held the same position in Elyria, Ohio.

Hennemyre, a Parkland resident, replaces William Edelstein, who retired after leading Memorial Manor for many years. He is a graduate of Bowling Green State University, where he earned degrees in business administration and education.

Memorial Healthcare System is one of the largest public healthcare systems (by revenue) in the U.S. and a national leader in quality care and patient satisfaction. It is highly regarded for its patient and family-centered approach at facilities that include Memorial Regional Hospital, Memorial Regional Hospital South, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, Memorial Hospital West, Memorial Hospital Miramar, Memorial Hospital Pembroke, and Memorial Manor nursing home.
