August 30, 2022) – Ian D. Singer, DO, JD and Melaine Lanza, MD have joined Holy Cross Medical Group, a multi-specialty physician employed group of more than 160 physicians providing services throughout Broward and Palm Beach counties.

Dr. Singer is a primary care physician who joins Holy Cross Health from Broward Health where he was a Chief Resident of the Broward Health Family Medicine Residency Program. He was also one of the 12 residents nationwide who served on the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP) Resident Council, where he served as Chair and was elected to 2 terms. At present, Dr. Singer sits on the Board of Trustees of the Florida Society of the ACOFP, is an adjunct faculty instructor of medical jurisprudence at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Legal Medicine. He graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science from University of Miami, earned his J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law, and a D.O. from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. A resident of Fort Lauderdale, Dr. Singer is fluent in English and Spanish. His office is in the Holy Cross Gallagher Adult Practice at 1900 E. Commercial Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale.

Dr. Lanza joins Holy Cross Health from Cleveland Clinic Florida where she practiced pulmonary and critical care medicine and served on the critical care committee. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine and Board Eligible for Critical Care medicine. A member of the American College of Chest Physicians, Dr. Lanza received her Bachelor of Science from University of Miami and post baccalaureate from Florida Atlantic University. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth Dominica and completed her internal medicine residency at Florida Atlantic University. She completed a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at Cleveland Clinic Florida. Following graduation from University of Miami, Dr. Lanza spent three years as a science teacher at Somerset Academy High School in Pembroke Pines, where she is a resident. Dr. Lanza’s office is at 4725 N Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale.
