October 28 2020 – Holy Cross Health has rebranded and expanded its Community Assistance Program (CAP) to include financial counseling and the Medicaid eligibility department, which assists those applying for governmental assistance.

CAP assists patients in the enrollment of medical insurance programs and connects them to healthcare services at Holy Cross Health to help them live a healthy lifestyle.

“With so many in our community losing their jobs, and with that, their insurance, this program fills a critical need. Holy Cross Health is there for them,” said Mark Doyle, CEO of Holy Cross Health. “The expansion of this program allows to extend our outreach and assistance to the community. We are a mission-driven innovative health organization that continues to be a compassionate and transforming healing presence within our communities.”

Holy Cross Health has always provided care for those in need and given special consideration to those who are most vulnerable, including those who are unable to pay and those whose limited means make it extremely difficult to meet the health care expenses incurred. Holy Cross Health is committed to providing access to quality health care services with compassion, dignity and respect for those it serves, particularly the poor and the underserved in the community and caring for all, regardless of their ability to pay for services, and assisting patients who cannot pay for part or all of the care that they receive.

Financial counselors are available to work with patients in completing financial assistance applications in order to determine what assistance is available. This includes assessing eligibility for Medicaid and health insurance exchange plans. For eligibility information, visit HolyCrossCap.COM or call 954-351-5972 or 954-267-7771.
