Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale has named Nancy Thies as its new vice president of development and marketing. Thies joins the non-profit hospital from United Way of Broward County, where she served as vice president of major and legacy gifts.
Thies has more than 27 years of experience in development and marketing, serving in senior-level roles with Mason Strategic Communications, Don Shula’s Hotel and Golf Club, John H. Harland Company and Miller Brewing Company.
She is an immediate past board member of the Planned Giving Council. In the past, she served as president and board member for the Charity Guild, vice president of community affairs for the Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale, a member of the Parent-Teacher Fellowship of Cardinal Gibbons High School and as a committee member for the Sister Parish Project at St. Anthony Catholic Church.
