Non-profit Holy Cross Hospital recently hosted students from Archbishop Edward McCarthy High School in Southwest Ranches, Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory School in Hollywood, Westminster Academy in Fort Lauderdale, and Zion Lutheran in Deerfield Beach for the Nursing Consortium of South Florida’s annual Day in the Life of a Nurse™ program.

The one-day program is conducted for high school students to learn about nursing careers by shadowing nurses, participating in various activities and touring key hospital departments. This was the ninth year Holy Cross Hospital participated in the Day in the Life of a Nurse program.
