In cooperation with Good Samaritan Medical Center, Hospice of Palm Beach County (HPBC) will soon open its fourth inpatient unit at Good Samaritan Medical Center. An open house is set for July 21 and the new unit officially opens August 1.
Striving to meet the growing needs of patients and families seeking hospice care in our community, the unit will be located on the fifth floor of the hospital and will have 16 beds (12 private and two semi-private rooms). The unit will be run by HPBC and staffed by Hospice employees. The new unit will provide the same acute care inpatient services as Hospices three other inpatient units in West Palm Beach, Boynton Beach and Atlantis.
