Donna Lopez, R.N., joined MorseLife Hospice in West Palm Beach, FL in February 2024 after relocating from Nevada. As a registered nurse case manager, Donna works closely with the interdisciplinary team to provide compassionate care to terminally ill patients and their families. She is deeply committed to ensuring each patient’s comfort and dignity, tailoring their care to their unique needs and wishes. Donna feels honored and privileged to guide families through this sensitive and deeply personal time, offering empathy, advocacy, practical and emotional support. She is passionate about getting to know her patients’ life stories and cultural beliefs, which helps her to personalize her care approach. Donna was inspired to make a career change after 34 years as a licensed cosmetologist when her own mother entered Hospice with a terminal illness. The care and support received by her mom and family was above and beyond any expectations. From that time forward, her goal of care was specific to the specialty of Hospice. Donna earned an associate degree in nursing from Las Vegas College in Nevada.
