Indian River Medical Center has added three new physicians to its medical staff.
Alfonsina Garcia-Bracero, M.D., earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Universidad de Puerto Rico before completing her medical education at University of Health Sciences Antigua. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology
at San Juan City Hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where she was also chief resident.

After a surgical internship at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, VA, and an internal medicine residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA, he completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Gordon was an assistant professor of medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and assistant professor of clinical medicine at Eastern Virginia

Medical School.Ivana Parody, M.D., received her medical degree from the Universidad Nacional de Cordoba Facultad de Ciencias Medicas in Argentina, where she ranked first in her class. After an internal medicine internship and residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL, where she was named resident of the year, she completed a fellowship in rheumatology at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
