Ranjith Shetty, M.D., FACC, FSCAI, RPVI, an interventional cardiologist specializing in structural and interventional cardiology recently joined the Palm Beach Health Network Physician Group – Cardiovascular Care practice in Delray Beach.
Prior to joining the Palm Beach Health Network Physician Group, Dr.Shetty worked at Carondelet Medical Group in Tucson, AZ. In addition, Dr. Shetty served as Associate Director of Structural Heart and Complex Coronary Disease, Assistant Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Medical Director of the Chest Pain Center at St. Mary’s Hospital in Tucson. Additionally, Dr. Shetty held various academic teaching positions at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, including Assistant Professor, Medicine – (Clinical Scholar Track), Associate Director of Structural Heart Disease and Associate Director of the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) Program.
Dr. Shetty completed fellowships in structural heart, peripheral vascular and complex coronary interventions from Swedish Medical Center – Cherry Hill Campus, Seattle, in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology from Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond, VA, and venous thromboembolism from Brigham & Women’s Hospital at Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA. Dr. Shetty also completed an internal medicine residency at Georgetown University in Washington DC. and medical school at the Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA.
