During the November 2007 Public Health Trust Board of Trustees meeting, four employees were honored with November 2007 and December 2007 Achiever awards by Marvin OQuinn, president & CEO, Jackson Health System, and Ernesto de la Fé, chairman, Public Health Trust Board of Trustees.

The two employees honored for November 2007 were Antonio Burke, a hospital security specialist at Jackson North Medical Center, and Mirta Rios, R.D., L.D., C.S.T., a dietitian in the Pediatric Department at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
The two employees honored for December 2007 were Delbert Brad Pigg, R.N., a clinical staff nurse in the Mental Health Crisis Unit at Mental Health Hospital, and Sheryl Glover, R.N., a clinical staff nurse in the Newborn Intermediate Unit at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
