The layout and format of the new site makes it easier than ever for users to navigate and retrieve relevant information on services provided within the Health System. With just a click of the mouse, visitors to www.jhsmiami.org can find information on everything from diseases and treatment options to residency programs and employment opportunities throughout Jackson.
“The Web site has been re-designed with two important goals in mind: simplicity and comprehensiveness,” said Robert Alonso, vice president of public relations and marketing. “Our new site allows the community to easily access important health care information that is relevant and broad in scope.” One of the new features of the Jackson Web site is a health library. The library provides an interactive health menu which allows visitor to research various diseases, conditions, and medications. The Web site also provides options that allow consumers to learn about cutting-edge treatments and research. Visitors to www.jhsmiami.org can also learn about Jackson and its 88 plus years of service to the community, the Public Health Trust, and learn about maternity, cardiology, urology and the many other health services provide throughout the Jackson Health System.
