The lobby also features historic photographs from throughout Jackson’s 90-year history and original artwork from students at the New World School of the Arts.

“We are very excited about the completion of this worthwhile project,” said Eugene Bassett, interim CEO of Jackson Health System. “This lobby is the gateway for many people into our health system and we hope it is more inviting and comfortable for them. We also hope it makes it easier for visitors to navigate through our large hospital.”

The renovations were made possible thanks in part to a donation by the Jackson Memorial Foundation, the fundraising arm of the hospital.
