The Broward County Commission has appointed Jasmin Shirley, vice president of Community Health Services for Broward Health, to the Broward Regional Health Planning Council (BRHPC). Her term on the Council runs from June 15, 2010 to June 15, 2012.
Since 1983, Shirley has been actively involved with the BRHPC and has served on several of their committees. Her first appointment to the BRHPC by the Broward County Commission was in 2004 where she served a two year term. Shirley is a renowned international advocate on HIV/AIDS education and treatment, has more than 25 years experience in healthcare administration and has held numerous leadership positions with health-related committees.
