Sale of subs at Southwest Florida locations will benefit the hospital all month

FORT MYERS, Fla. – March 1, 2023 – During March, enjoy subs at any of the Jersey Mike’s locations in Southwest Florida and a portion of your purchase will be donated to Golisano Children’s Hospital. The month-long campaign culminates March 29 with Jersey Mike’s Day of Giving, when 13 local restaurants will donate 100% of the day’s sales to Golisano Children’s Hospital.

Last year, the campaign raised $158,000 for Golisano Children’s Hospital to help fulfill the region’s critical pediatric healthcare needs through innovative programs, technologies and services.

“This is an incredibly generous and appreciated gesture by Jersey Mike’s. On March 29, these local franchise owners are not just donating a portion of their proceeds or profits – it’s every transaction through the cash register that day! That includes pickup and delivery app orders as well!” said Katy Martinez, Director of Development for Lee Health Foundation. “Dollars raised will go directly to help Golisano Children’s Hospital provide care to the neediest patients. We are thankful that corporate partners like Jersey Mike support us to ensure all patients have access to world-class pediatric care close to home.”

This March, Jersey Mike’s hopes to exceed last year’s record-breaking national fundraising total of $20 million.

“I would like to extend a personal invitation to you and your family to visit Jersey Mike’s Subs throughout the month of March, and especially on Day of Giving when 100 percent of sales – every penny – goes to help a great local cause,” said Peter Cancro, Jersey Mike’s founder and CEO, who started the company when he was only 17 years old.

Throughout March, customers can make donations through the Jersey Mike’s mobile app or onsite. On Day of Giving, Jersey Mike’s restaurants will donate their resources and every single dollar that comes in — whether in store, on-line or through the app.

Since Month of Giving began in 2011, Jersey Mike’s has raised more than $67 million for local charities, including $250,000 for Golisano Children’s Hospital.
