JFK Medical Center (JFK) recently announced that Charles Posternack, M.D., FACP, FRCPC, has been appointed as Chief Medical Officer. Posternack, who has been at JFK for two years, previously worked at JFK as the Physician Advisor for Medical Affairs.
Dr. Posternack received his medical degree from McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada and completed a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at McGill University Combined Program, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. In 2000, he was voted “One of the Top 500 internists in America” by Town and Country Magazine, and was also nominated as “One of the Best Doctors in America” each year from 1996-2000 by Woodward and White. Dr. Posternack is currently the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration Medical Expert.
