Pediatric Geneticist Paul J. Benke, M.D., Ph.D., has recently joined the medical staff of Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Benke received his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and pediatric and genetic training at the University of Wisconsin. Previously, he was director of pediatric clinical genetics at the University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Benke, who is board certified in pediatric clinical genetics and biochemical genetics, has published extensively in pediatric genetics disorders. His numerous research findings are found in periodicals such as Journal of Pediatrics, Human Molecular Genetics, Journal of Biological Chemistry and Medical Hypotheses, to name a few.
