September 23, 2019 – Holly L. Neville, MD, a fellowship-trained, pediatric general surgeon has been named to lead the division of pediatric general surgery at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood. 
 
In her practice, Dr. Neville operates on children with hernias and also focuses on congenital anomalies and neonatal care. She is also associate program director of the general surgery residency of Memorial Healthcare System’s Graduate Medical Education program and conducts clinical research, often involving the treatment of pediatric tumors. 
 
“As a surgeon, I enjoy having the ability to make a tangible difference in a child’s life,” said Neville. “It’s always a pleasure to watch my patients recover and grow, and to see or hear from them in good health years later.” 
 
Dr. Neville is president of the Florida Association of Pediatric Surgeons, serves on the programs committee for the American Academy of Pediatrics, and is on the education committee of the American Pediatric Surgical Association. She is also active with the Association of Women Surgeons.
